Book Blogger Hop March 24th - 30th

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This weeks question submitted by Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books

How do you handle negative comments left on your blog?

So far (knock on wood) I have yet to get a negative comment left on this blog, however I have gotten a couple on my other blog. I mostly ignore them honestly, however if it just seems like a troll or just too negative I delete them. If they are 'Constructive criticism' I don't consider it a negative comment.

  1. I haven't gotten any either, but would just ignore and delete it.

I hope you are having a good weekend.

    Happy Hopping!!

  3. I have been lucky not to have any negative comments on my blog so far--at least none I can remember. I think I would delete them if they were trolls or personal attacks.

I hope you have a great week!

  4. Here's hoping your blog comments stay troll-free. Messing with negative comments isn't fun.

  5. I agree -- constructive criticism is all right, with a BIG "maybe". There's a catch: some people who intentionally leave nasty comments will insist that their comment was "constructive", and, if you were offended or hurt by it, you're just "too sensitive". I've had this kind of thing happen to me in the real world, and I just don't buy it. So, if you get any such supposedly "constructive" criticisms in the future, my advice is to just delete them without any explanation. Hope you don't get any, though!

Thanks for sharing, and for leaving a nice comment on my BBH post!! <3 :)
