Happily Ever & Everything in Between; Debbie Tung

Title: Happily Ever After (& Everything in Between)
Author: Debbie Tung
Genre: Comics
Published Date: June 2nd 2020
Publisher: Andrews McMeel Publishing

The comics in Happily Ever After & Everything In Between may be inspired by Debbie Tung’s marriage to her extrovert husband, but any couple can relate to increasingly relaxed anniversaries, slowly seeing more of each other’s weird sides, or the punishment for taking care of your sick loved one (catching whatever they had). Happily Ever After humorously captures what everyday love looks like—both the sweet moments and the mundane—making it a fitting gift for weddings, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day.

Hello Fellow Readers,

Today we have another illustrated book, Happily Ever After (& Everything in Between) is about Marriage and everyday life. This is such a cute book, I just wish it was a bit longer. You can tell Tung and her husband really love each other, you can see it on everypage. Being part of a marriage just like heres, there were multiple times that I had to run and find my own husband to show him a page. Okay, I actually had to show him a lot of pages, but the book is just very relatable and similar to the way me and my husband are.

I did feel like there was something missing however. I think I was hoping for more funny. A lot of the pages made me go 'awww', but I wanted to laugh as well. I am not sure how to explain exactly what I was looking for, but I really like th way it ended and I can't wait to see what the next book will be about, but I think I may have a good idea.

I really enjoyed Tung's illustrations, especially when she decided to dedicate the whole page to one panel. Overall, this is a good book to get if you love cute moments in marriage.
