Food-based romance? I absolutely wanted to read this. It's been a while since I've read something so wholesome and sweet, while yes Kenta and Chihiro move a little too fast with getting married before they've even held hands but I found it endearing. Kenta was charming in a nerdy sort of way while Chihiro was just cute and I love reading about their awkward romance. Watching their courtship get enhanced with the power of grilling was interesting and also made me hungry that I made my hubby clean the grill so we can have some BBQ. I've also always thought that good food has the amazing power of bringing people together and it's very prevalent in 'How to Grill Our Love'.
I do hope we see more depth about both Kenta and especially Chihiro characters, as well as some awkward hijinks that comes with a new relationship. I'm tempted to try grilling some of the recipes that Kenta uses to see how they are.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this and can't wait for the next one.
